How do I make a reservation with Karavancribs?
We make it easy to book all of our camper vans. The price varies based on the availability and the amount of time you will be renting. You may use our website to make your reservations or get a quote to know approximately how much your rental costs. You can also call our customer service office (954) 799-8484 and follow prompts to get a quote or a booking request. We will send an email to you indicating that you have requested a quote and can proceed with booking. The link will redirect you to rent out your van officially. The link will expire after seven days. Once you’ve submitted your booking request, someone from our reservations will get back to you in 24-48 hours to notify approval of your reservations. Please note that all bookings in the queue are not confirmed until it is approved. We advise customers not to make any travel arrangements until the reservation is established; that way, you are not disappointed if a van is unavailable during the time of your expected travel date.
Karavancribs requires a $ 500 (USD) deposit to reserve a campervan. The total balance is not due until you come to pick up your van. To understand more in-depth all requirements, read our “Rental Terms and Conditions” for more information on your booking.
Must have a valid driver’s license and be 21 years of age.
What time can we pick-up or drop off?
Regular hours of operations are Monday through Saturday, 9 AM – 7 PM. The earliest pick-up is 9 AM (eastern time), and the latest drop-off is at 7 PM. If you want to pick up the vehicle earlier, please call the office and fill out our “Special Request“ form. It is not often that we can accommodate earlier pick-up times; it depends on the season and availability of staff. If you decide to return your van after hours, there will be a dropbox to leave your keys. Please note that the van will be inspected the following morning before returning the deposit.
The vehicle must be dropped off by 11 AM on the agreed return date to avoid late fees. Customers are charged per night, so, ideally, you drop it off during allotted times. There is a 1-hour grace period (please call if you will be late). If the vehicle is dropped off after 11 AM, you will be charged a full-day rental.
We are closed on major holidays: Thanksgiving, Independence Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Labor Day, Juneteenth, and Memorial Day.*
Which vehicle models does Karavancribs offer?
There are currently two models that we use in our fleet:
Dodge Promaster 3500
Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 1500
Both options are fuel-efficient and are great for traveling long distances. They are automatic transmissions. We will give a quick tutorial on driving vans and their features so that everyone is comfortable before their departure.
Do all drivers have to be present when picking up vehicles?
What is the minimum number of days that I need to rent a Karavancrib campervan?
What is the cancellation policy?
If reservation is cancelled within 48 hours after your trip is confirmed and booked, you will recieve a 100% refund minus $50 cancellation fee. Please Note that this full refund is not available if you are booking a rental within the next 14 days.
If reservation is cancelled up to (2 weeks) 14 days before your scheduled pickup, up will receive 50% of your reservation total.
After 14 days there are no refunds.
Can I take my pet with me on my trip?
Yes! You are allowed to take pets on the trip. The pets that are acceptable for travel are dogs or cats. We charge a non-refundable pet fee of $100 (2 pets allowed). Please indicate if you have a service animal upon booking your trip. Any damages caused by the pet will be the liability of the owner or guest and will not be covered by the non-refundable pet cleaning fee.
Does my trip include insurance, or do I have to purchase it separately?
You can choose from one of our insurance packages to decide which coverage you’d like to purchase. If you are a U.S resident with a valid driver’s license and have auto insurance that provides coverage for rental vehicles, it may not cover our campervans. We convert these vans, which may not qualify under your insurance plan. If this is the case, you should add one of our coverage plans to prevent liability in case of damage.
*Please be ready to prove that your insurance covers “conversion vehicles.”
Also, note that if you decide not to utilize our insurance options, your credit card will be charged to cover the cost of damages when you return the van.
What happens if the vehicle breaks down while I’m on the road?

You can drive anywhere within U.S territory.
Drivers are prohibited from taking vans to Mexico and Canada.
